Who is responsible
This website, freegameloop.com, is operated by the operator of SpeedCheckWeb ("we", "us"). Contact us about privacy atcontact@speedcheckweb.com.
Running a speed test
To measure your connection, your browser exchanges test data with our measurement service, which runs on Cloudflare's network. Like any website, the service receives your IP address with each request. Cloudflare also tells it theapproximate country, the network (ASN) and provider name linked to that IP address, and whichCloudflare data centre handled the request.
- We use this information only to answer your request and show it back to you: for example, "Your provider" and the test server location.
- We do not store it. Our measurement service keeps no database and writes no logs about visitors.
- The test data itself is random and is discarded immediately.
Information stored on your device
- Test history (
scw:history:v1): your recent results: speeds, latency, time, the data-centre code and provider name. This is kept in your browser's local storage and is never sent to us. Delete it on the history page or by clearing your browser data. - Theme preference (
scw:theme): whether you chose light or dark mode.
We do not set our own cookies. See the cookie policy.
Share links
If you share a result, the link contains only the numbers shown (speeds, latency, jitter, packet loss, test time and the data centre code). It does not contain your IP address or provider. Anyone with the link can see those numbers.
Packet loss test
When available, the packet loss test sends a short stream of data through a relay (TURN) server operated by Cloudflare. To relay the data, Cloudflare processes the IP addresses involved. We receive only temporary access credentials and do not store anything about the test.
Our infrastructure provider: Cloudflare
Cloudflare hosts this website and our measurement service. As part of providing, securing and protecting its network, it processes request information such as IP addresses, and may keep operational and security logs under its own policies. SeeCloudflare's privacy policy.
If you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and delete it when it is no longer needed to handle your request, unless we must keep it for legal reasons.
Legal bases (EEA, UK and similar laws)
- Processing your IP address and network information to run a test you start: our legitimate interest in providing the service you asked for.
- Information on your device (history, theme): stored at your request to provide features you use.
- Replying to your messages: our legitimate interest in answering you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Because we do not store test data or IP addresses, we usually hold no personal data about visitors, except emails you send us. To make a request, emailcontact@speedcheckweb.com.
Children
SpeedCheckWeb is a general-audience service and is not directed at children under 13.
International processing
Our providers operate worldwide, so information may be processed in countries other than your own, under the safeguards described in their own policies.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, for example by adding a new feature or service provider, we will update this page and its date.
